There has been a recent spate of the use of counterfeit Scottish £50 notes within businesses in Wells City.

Speeding within Wells City continues to be a problem highlighted by residents, with the following locations being identified, South St, Silver St, High St, Tor Street, St Thomas Street, Bath Road, New Street, Bristol Hill, Ash Lane, Portway, Lethbridge Road, Jocelyn Drive & outside of West Horrington School. These locations will be targeted by the beat team with the Ultra Lyte speed detection gun where we seek to educate drivers where possible and prosecute where appropriate. The speed enforcement vans and motorcycles will also be visiting the Wells area on regular basis.
