Yeovil Rural Avon and Somerset Constabulary Police Local Neighbourhood

This is a priority for all of Yeovil, not just the outer parts. County Lines use vulnerable persons to carry drugs and money for them, and take over their properties (cuckooing) This is difficult to Police as they rarely stay in one place for long, moving between addresses frequently. You, the public are our main eyes and ears, and we need you to raise your concerns to us.
Again enquiries are ongoing, and there have been a number of arrests recently, but we need your help in reporting any unusual activity (cars / people) arriving in specific areas and addresses. This helps us to build a picture of movements and helps us to build a stronger case.

Week of "Intensification" regarding the County Lines addresses in and around Yeovil. We are visiting vulnerable persons who have previously been victim to dealers, or who we feel are at risk of becoming taken over by them. This is just a small part of our ongoing work in disrupting their dealings.

Police in Yeovil have been made aware of a spate of large stones / boulders, which appear to have been strategically placed along the A37 just outside of Yeovil. Our enquiries into who placed these stones are still ongoing. If you are aware of any incidents, please call in on 101 as we are trying to collate a picture of what and when they have been placed. If you believe you may have seen someone placing them, we would also like to speak to you about it.
