We have received numerous complaints in regards to parents parking on the ZigZag lines at the Blue coat primary school

Garden Quarter officers performed high visibility during the most affected times which saw a decrease in people parking on the Zig-Zags. PCSO Pheasey also placed notices in the monthly Garden Quarter handbook advising not to park on them at any time.

There were a number of individuals in the city centre that were committing acts of anti-social behaviour that involved foul and abusive language, drug misuse, begging and thefts offences, and this was a cause for concern to a number of city businesses and visitors who were intimidated by their behaviour.

Chester city centre officers, working together with colleagues from the Chester Anti-social behaviour unit, successfully applied to Chester Magistrates Court for four criminal behaviour orders, that controls the behaviour of the identified individuals who are now not allowed to enter the city centre due to an exclusion map. This is an excellent result for the city centre and sends out a clear message that ASB will not be tolerated in Chester.
