You reported that in April there was an increase of thefts of garden furniture from properties in the Westminster Park estate. These offences occurred between the hours of 1.30am and 5.00am.

 

 

 

We responded by increasing police patrols overnight in the area. Since the increase in patrols there have been no further reported incidents of theft.

1. You reported anti-social behaviour at Kingsway shops.

 

2. You reported anti-social behaviour by youths in Westminster Park, in particular near the café.

 

3. You said that there was anti-social behaviour in the vicinity of Green Lane shops in Vicars Cross during weekend evenings.

 

 

 

1. Beat Manager PC Hazlewood and PCSO Edmonds have provided a high visible presence in the evenings at the shops and engaged with the local community via the Hub. Enquiries are on-going regarding suspects for the anti-social behaviour.

 

2. Beat Manager PC Lawrence and PCSO Fox have patrolled the area providing a high visibility presence. PCSO Fox is currently liaising with local councillors to provide a long term solution.

 

3. Beat Manager PC Carmon and PCSO Denby increased visible presence in the area during weekend evenings and there has been no further reported anti-social behaviour at the shops.

Reports of speeding vehicles and anti-social driving on Lache Lane & Hoole Lane.

 

 

 

 

We deployed speed enforcement on several dates in April  in both locations with 41 drivers being reported for speeding offences.
