We have continued high visibility and plain clothes patrols regularly patrolling targeted areas.

You wanted to see patrols regularly patrolling key areas to deter and deal with anti-social behaviour.

We continued patrolling key areas, on foot and on bikes, moving on groups of young people, gathering names and sending them to our anti-social behaviour team.

You wanted to see more patrols regularly patrolling Whitby Park to deter and deal with anti-social behaviour at the Fair.

Over the Easter period local patrols were stepped up in public spaces to address the potential for anti-social behaviour during the school holidays and relating the Funfair in Whitby Park. 

The Operation was a great success and saw officers engaging with local young people in our Xbox project and providing reassurance to the community.
