Youths are causing problems around the area of Chapelford and the have ben instances of stones being thrown from the red bridges at passing cars.

During April. Sgt Paul Flynn along with his team have conducted patrols at this location. Officers have deployed on bikes, marked vehicles and plain clothes engaging with the local youths and sending letters to parents who's children have been causing ASB

Local officers are continuing to tackle the ASB within this area.

We had several reports in March of youths throwing items from the red bridge Cromwell Avenue damaging several vehicles.

During April Beat Managers visited the 3 main High schools on Warrington West. Your officers spoke to children during Assembly about the ASB and the consequences of throwing items from the red bridges,

Officers deployed in plain clothes and push bikes to target these areas.

During April there was a dramatic decrease in these offences.

You said local youths were smoking cannabis in the alley next to Sankey Railway station.

During April officers prioritised this location paying extra attention to the area.. Police dog Rufus has also patrolled several locations in the area, including the area around Sankey Railway station.

We made British Transport police aware who have also been visible within this area.

During April we had no further reports of drug use but will continue to pay attention to this area.
