Anti-Social Driving

Police have received numerous complaints of anti-social/dangerous driving in and around Redruth.

If you have any information which you believe may help us to identify these offenders please contact us as soon as possible.

Update: 03 April 2019 - April 2019

The amount of reports of anti social driving has dropped recently.

We will keep this as a priority for the summer.

We encourage any reports to be made to us so that we can try to disrupt and prevent this behaviour.

Update: 24 February 2019 - February 2019

Police are not receiving as many reports as we have previously.

Patrols will continue and this will remain a priority at the moment.

Update: 24 February 2019 - September 2018

Within the last two weeks Police have acted on some information that we have received regarding the offenders.

They have been spoken to and received warnings.

Please keep us updated with any further incidents.

Camborne,Pool and Redruth Neighbourhood team continue to monitor the issues

We have received complaints regarding issues in the Pool area.

Police are working closely with local businesses to tackle the issue.

Anti Social Behaviour in Redruth Town

Police have received reports of groups of youths congregating in the town, causing anti social behaviour and littering.

Update: 03 April 2019 - April 2019

The amount of reports of anti social behaviour has decreased recently.

This still remains as a Police priority and we encourage reports to be made with us so that we can deal with any offenders/issues.

Update: 04 January 2019 - November 2018

Patrols are continuing and we encourage any reports to be made via 101/999.

Over the summer there have been joint patrols from Police and the Cornwall Council Anti-social behaviour team.

Police have implemented a dispersal order in the town on two occsions with positive results.

Reports to Police have decreased over the last couple of weeks but patrols will continue and we encourage the public to reports and incidents that they may witness.

Update: 04 January 2019 - July 2018

Police have received some more reports of anti-social behaviour in Redruth town recently.

Please continue to report these issues and we will continue to monitor.

Update: 04 January 2019 - December

The neighbourhood team arranged some dispersal orders in the town over October and November. This gave officers the power to direct anyone causing/or likely to cause anti social behaviour to leave the area. The number of logs regarding issues within the town has reduced a lot recently.

This will still remain as a priority over the Christmas period.

The amount of reports to police regarding anti social behaviour in town has dropped significantly recently.

There have been a couple incidents of some youths climbing on the roof tops of shops in the town.

Should you see this please call us straight away as this could be very dangerous.

Reports of anti social behaviour has reduced though this is still a priority and we are still working on this.

Patrols are ongoing - another two anti social behaviour warnings have been issued within the last week.

On 3rd January Police received reports that there were a group in the twon centre causing a disturbance.

A section 35 dispersal order was issued and a number of people were directed to leave the town centre.
