Tewkesbury Gloucestershire Constabulary Police Local Neighbourhood

I started my career with Gloucestershire Constabulary in 2008 in the Police control room taking 999 calls and dispatching my colleagues to jobs. I left the control room in 2013 and have been a PCSO in Tewkesbury ever since, I enjoy my role as PCSO, it is so varied and no two days are the same. I am passionate about policing and believe neighbourhood policing and engagement with our communities is key to tackling crime and anti-social behaviour, I am proud to be a part of my hard working neighbourhood team and Tewkesbury police as a whole.

I joined Gloucestershire Constabulary as a Police Community Support Officer in 2007 and was posted to Tewkesbury Police Station.

I believe that Neighbourhood Policing and having those face to face engagements with the public is crucial in building trust and confidence within the communities we serve.

I see my position to be a privileged one, and I am and proud to be part of a dedicated team working hard to reduce crime and keeping people safe from harm. No two days are the same and I enjoy the variety my role within the Police offers and the ability to make a difference to peoples quality of life.

I have been part of Gloucestershire Constabulary since 2006 when I joined as a Custody detention officer. In 2007 I became a PCSO, was based at the Cheltenham Road East Police Station and covered the communities of Brockworth and Churchdown.  In 2017 I moved to Tewkesbury Police station and now cover Tewkesbury Town and surrounding areas.

Typical work includes foot patrols, attending schools and delivering e-safety learning and working with local neighbourhood officers from Tewkesbury Borough Council.

I have served worldwide as an Airmen in the Royal Air Force before joining Gloucestershire Constabulary as a PCSO in July 2018. I am posted to a hardworking Tewkesbury Neighbourhood Policing Team where I cover Tewkesbury Town and the surrounding areas.

I strive to keep people safe and build community partnerships that provide accessibility to the public,  whilst delivering high visibility patrols to help prevent crime and antisocial behaviour.
