Francesca joined Eastleigh as the Central Neighbourhood Patrol Team Sergeant on 31st July 2017.
Having joined Hampshire Constabulary in July 1999 Francesca has served in Winchester and Havant on Response and Patrol as well as working across the whole force for 6 years as a Safeguarding Sergeant. She also spent 2.5 years as a Staff Officer to the Assistant Chief Constable for Local Policing and latterly the Assistant Chief Constable for Crime, Criminal Justice and Intelligence.

Francesca has a particular interest in safeguarding within policing and feels this new role will give her the opportunity to work with partners to identify and protect those who need our help within our communities by tackling crime and offending.

Aaron moved to Eastleigh Neighbourhood Team in October 2017. He has been a PC for over 9 years, previously working on the Response and Patrol team.
He had a short attachment with Investigations to broaden his skill set and also some time with both the Burglary team and Drug related Harm Team.

In his spare time Aaron is a massive football fan of Eastleigh FC and manages his son's under 9 football team.

I joined Hampshire Constabulary in 1990 and have been stationed at Eastleigh Police station since 1998. I was a response officer until 2009 when I transferred to the Neighbourhood Team. I am a member of Eastleigh Central team which support local businesses through Shopwatch and Pubwatch and work closely with Eastleigh BID. Eastleigh Central covers the town centre and surrounding residential areas.

Iain joined Hampshire Constabulary in 1998. He has served as a member of the Eastleigh Neighbourhood Team for 13 years as a beat officer.
He has previously worked in the Valley Park / Knightwood area and the residential area of Eastleigh Town Centre.
Iain has a great deal of community policing experience.

Rich has performed many roles with Eastleigh Police both in and out of uniform. He has a vast knowledge of the area having worked in Eastleigh for many years.

Sue moved across to the Eastleigh Central Team last year after spending some time covering the Chandlers Ford area. Sue has worked for Hampshire Constabulary for a number of years and was previously a controller before joining the Neighbourhoods team.

Hi, my name is Mike, I am a PCSO and I started with Hampshire Constabulary on the 7th March 2016. I am a motorbike enthusiast my choice of ride is a Triumph Speed Triple.

PCSO Barfoot joined Hampshire Constabulary as a police support volunteer in December 2012 and was appointed as a PCSO in July 2015. She has been a part of Eastleigh Central Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) since December 2015 after spending a short time at Hedge End.

Hello, I’m PCSO Callum Stephens. I joined the Eastleigh Central Neighbourhood Policing Team in May 2017 - mainly covering the areas Velmore and the Aviary Estate. Before joining Eastleigh I was a PCSO in Bishops Waltham.

Tina arrived at Eastleigh in December of 2006 having joined the constabulary in October 2006. She has remained on the Eastleigh beat for the last 11 years.

Theft
This priority has been created in relation to the recent spate of theft of pedal cycles in Eastleigh Town Centre and surrounding areas. All crime prevention patrols and engagements to be recorded. Issue ref - 10118 also refers to OP STAG.

Police has looked around at bike stands which were locked around the Eastleigh Swan Centre and the Town centre. Bikes were found insecure and bikes were also found that were locked with cable locks which are more vulnerable to theft.

An officer's assessment card was left on these bikes to give Crime Prevention Advice to the owners.

Please note that thieves can bypass cable locks and we recommend that a better quality lock is used preferably a 'D' lock. These can be purchased at Eastleigh Police Station at a reduced price of £20.

As a whole, this has been a very successful project that has accomplished its aims and objectives.

The primary objective was to raise awareness of Scams and Rogue Trading with the area of Eastleigh. Through conducting leaflet drops, crime prevention stands, working with partner agencies and using social media we have spread a vast amount of information across a very large audience.

Through the above methods, we have ensured that crime prevention information has been spread among the general public, allowing them to stay up to date with local scams and methods that can be used to keep themselves safe. By completing crime prevention stands and leaflet drops we have ensured that literature has been giving to members of the public, literature that details approved trade companies, burglary and scam advice, blue lamp trust information along with different methods of reporting the crimes. This has also allowed us to raise awareness within specific and generic areas of Eastleigh - both target hardening and wide spread awareness raising.

This has bee a very successful project that has helped to raise awareness of different scams and types of rogue trading with in the area. It has allowed us to supply the public with crime prevention information along with what to look out for and how they can keep themselves and others safe while encouraging people to report suspicious activity (and the best ways to do this).

Going forward - we would like to encourage people to continue to make reports to the Police relating to this matter; reporting suspicious behaviour to 101 and phoning 999 in a emergency.
