If you have anything crime related that you would like to speak to someone about or just fancy a chat then come and meet your local neighbourhood officers at the Roundabout Café on the last Friday of every month at 2 PM.

I am the team Sergeant for the Portswood and Swaythling Wards.
These Wards offer different and very diverse challenges and we are constantly looking to improve our communication with you the residents, business owners and visitors to the area.
If you see any of the team out on patrol in the Ward, please stop and have a chat with them.
We prioritise our Policing on what matters to our Communities and we welcome any feedback that you may have.

Pc 22125 Gail Salley is the Engagement Officer for the Swaythling area. She joined Hampshire Constabulary in August 2004 working at Southampton Central and Portswood Police Stations as part of the response team. In 2006 she joined the Safer Neighbourhood Team as the beat officer for The Flower Roads. In April 2011 she moved to engagement working in the Swaythling and Bassett area and becoming one of the Unviersity Liasion Officers at Southampton University.
She remains in this post focusing on the Swaythling area helping the local communities to enjoy where they live, reducing crime and anti social behaviour and working closely with Southampton City Council, Radian Housing and Raglan Housing.

My name is Barbara Cendrzak and I will be one of the PCSO's for the Portswood area. I have previously worked in teaching, advertising and retail, which have all involved building good relationships with people. I have worked really hard and I intend to continue this effort in my new role to make Portswood area safe and peaceful for everyone. If you have any issues, please do not hesitate to speak to me when I am out on patrol or contact me by email.

Hello! I am PCSO Alex Radu and I am one of the local PCSOs who cover the Portswood area of Southampton. I am excited to be a part of the Neighbourhood Policing Team and I am looking forward to learning the area, meeting the local community and getting to understand the issues affecting it. Bob is the local PCSO for the Bassett area.
I have been Bassett PCSO since November 2012, previous employment has included a full 24 Year Royal Navy career leaving as a Petty Officer (Radio Supervisor) and then 10 years as an instructor for the Royal Navy including The Brunei Navy, Training Design, and Career training for Naval students.
The role of the Bassett PCSO is having a good and comprehensive relationship with the community solving issues and making the area a better and safe neighbourhood to live, work and socialise in.

I am the Police Community Support Officer for the Mansbridge area in Swaythling, Southampton.

I am a Police Community Support Officer who covers Portswood, Bassett and Swaythling. I have been a PCSO for over 11 years now and have lots of experience in different fields relating to my role. I have been stationed at Totton in the New Forest and Redbridge Southampton which covers Shirley.

I have been stationed at Portswood since August last year and have tackled a whole new aspect of my role. Every location is different from one another so I am enjoying my time here.

Hello my name is Sean and I am a new member of the team covering Bitterne North. I am happy to join such a strong team and endeavour to make a difference to the community.

Burglary
Dwelling Burglary in Portswood as a whole but specifically the Bassett area will be one of our Policing Priorities for the coming months.
We will be engaging with you to try and prevent these crimes from happening in the first place.

Drug related issues
Due to an increase in the open misuse of drugs in the Mansbridge and Portswood Road areas, this will be a Policing Priority for us in the coming months.
