East Herts Rural Hertfordshire Constabulary Police Local Neighbourhood

I joined the Constabulary in 1989 having worked in agriculture since leaving school. I began my police career as a constable in Stevenage before moving into specialised traffic patrol duties where I spent many years. I commenced the promotion process in 2006 when I took the position as Patrol Sergeant at Bishop's Stortford. In January 2007 I moved into neighbourhood policing covering Bishop's Stortford and Buntingford. I now cover all rural areas in East Hertfordshire with regards to neighbourhood policing. I currently have a team of four constables and eight Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs). These in turn are supported by the Special Constabulary and five police volunteers.
I live in Buntingford and have done so since 1979. I continue to have an active interest in agriculture and rural life.

Covers all villages, with specific responsibility for Braughing, Hare Street and Hormead, Anstey, Meesden, Pelhams, Albury, Wyddial, Standon and Puckeridge including Wellpond Green, Colliers End, Latchford and Barwick.

Buntingford Town, villages of Aspenden, Chipping, Buckland

Paul has moved to the team this past year and covers the rural area to the West of Buntingford covering Cottered, Cromer, Walkern, Bennington, Dane End, Mundens, Nasty, Westmill, Colliers End, High Cross, Wadesmill, Thundridge and Hertford Heath

All villages with specific responsibility for Little Hadham, Much Hadham, Widford, Hunsdon, Gilston, Eastwick, Wareside, Allens Green, Perry Green and Bury Green.

Cottered, Cromer, Ardeley, Wood End, Walkern, Benington, Dane End, Great & Little Munden, Nasty, Westmill and Whempstead. Specialist in equine matters.

Buntingford, Aspenden. Chipping and Buckland.

Lizzie joined the team in December 2017 and is responsible for Buntingford Town issues, working alongside her ward Constable Gemma Wardell

Hannah joined the team in the summer of 2017 and is responsible for the parish of Standon and Puckeridge

Debbie joined the team recently in 2018 and is responsible for the rural area to the East of Buntingford covering the villages of Wyddial, Anstey, Meesden, Hare Street, Hormead, Pelhams, Albury, and Braughing

Leon joined the team in 2017 having previously worked in Bishops Stortford and is responsible for the villages of Little Hadham, Much Hadham, Widford, Hunsdon, Wareside, Eastwick, Gilston, High Wych, Allens Green, Perry Green

Stanstead Abbotts, Hertford Heath, Brickendon, Tonwell, Colliers End, High Cross, Thundridge and Wadesmill.

Watton-at-Stone, Bramfield, Datchworth, Tewin, Birch Green, Cole Green, Stapleford, Waterford and Aston.
