I joined Hertfordshire Constabulary in 2014 after working for the Metropolitan Police and Thames Valley Police. I worked as a response officer in Hatfield (responding to 999 calls) before becoming the Sergeant for Welwyn Hatfield North in January 2019. Myself and my team of experienced officers are committed to addressing the issues that matter most to you to ensure that Welwyn Hatfield North is a safe place to live and work.

We’ve been tackling racing vehicles which happens mostly in the evening through planned operations. Offenders know we will not tolerate this activity through visits to their homes to give warnings. We are keeping up patrols in affected areas.

We are tackling ongoing ASB at Peartree and Woodhall Shops which happens mainly during the evenings. Officers regularly patrol these areas, dispersal orders are used and we are working with partner agencies to reduce the problem long term.

OWL messages and tweets have been sent out regularly with updates which encourages further reporting so we can be as aware as possible where the problems are in real-time. Several youths have been dealt with regarding ASB issues, home visits continue to be made and we are working closely with the council ASB team. Operation Brillo - ASB occurring in Welwyn Garden City town centre predominantly around McDonalds, KFC and Howardsgate. In response we are increasing our patrols in the area. Please continue to report incidents to us as and when they happen.
