Gang related Anti-Social Behaviour within Shephall linked to Drug Use/Dealing.

A priority setting meeting was held on 4th March 2019 with local councillors and it was agreed that police will endeavour to tackle Anti-Social Behaviour linked to gang culture (encompassing drug misuse and the carrying of offensive weapons) which has been occurring within the Shephall ward. The Hyde and surrounding residential areas have been identified by the local community as a specific target where this issue occurs. Officers will endeavour to tackle this issue by a) prevention b) detection of offenders with a view of reducing the problem to an acceptable state. Successful indicators include reduction of reported issues to police and a perception that ASB has been reduced by engaging with the community and partners.

Vehicle related ASB on dual carriageways, namely Broadhall Way and Monkswood Way

A priority setting meeting was held on 4th March 2019 with local councillors and it was agreed that police will endeavour to tackle vehicle related Anti-Social Behaviour which has been occurring on the dual carriageways in the South of the town, namely speeding and excessive vehicle noise. Broadhall Way and Monkswood Way are roads identified by the local community as a perceived specific hotspot. Officers will endeavour to tackle this issue by a) prevention b) detection of offenders with a view of reducing the problem to an acceptable state. Successful indicators include reduction of reported issues to police and a perception that ASB has been reduced by engaging with the community and partners.
