NameRankBio
Lisa Mansfield PC

Since joining the Leicestershire Police in 1997 I have worked from Syston as a General Duty Officer, Keyhem Lane as an Identified Task Officer and Wigston as an Intelligence Officer.

Within these roles I have gained a wealth of experience that I intend to channel into working with the communities in Barrow upon Soar and Sileby as a Safer Neighbourhood Officer.

Mohamed Musa PCSO

Hello,

I am one of the local PCSOs covering the Sileby area.

My main duties involve engaging with the community and conducting high visibility reassurance patrols in and around Sileby.

You may have seen me around during my visits to the local schools, clubs and other community meetings and events in and around Sileby.

Jade Martin PCSO

I have been working for Leicestershire Police as a Police Community Support Officer since May 2015, I am looking forward to working pro-actively in the community.
I am keen to build up a good working relationship with local people and the community. Please feel free to stop me and speak with me about any concerns or issues you would like to raise.

Matt Foulger Sgt

I joined Leicestershire Police in 2006 and enjoyed the early years of my career working from Loughborough as a response PC, a local beat officer and as part of the Neighbourhood Action Team.
After working within different areas of the force for a number of years I was pleased to return to the Charnwood area as Neighbourhood Sergeant in September 2018 taking responsibility for the North and Birstall beats. I am pleased to have joined teams who are experienced and motivated, yet open to how we best serve our communities during a period of change. I am committed to protecting vulnerable persons and targeting those who cause our communities

We have been working with local residents and
businesses attempting to resolve this priority. We have

Further meetings are planned. A traffic survey has been
carried out but more work needs to be done on this and

by working with the local school to raise awareness of

Action dated: 16/11/2009

To work with partner agencies in providing and/or
promoting facilities for young people in Sileby to
further reduce incidents of anti-social behaviour
within the village.

A youth club opened up at the beginning of the summer
and since then its popularity has gone from strength to
strength. Lots of local teenagers have been attending
the club on a regular basis to participate in different
activities.
We also teamed up with local residents and partner
agencies to set up Sileby Boxing Academy which was
opened in June 2009. Since the opening night, young
people have been able to learn a disciplined sport which
encourages respect for others and a healthy life style.
The Academy has enjoyed support from local
businesses and the surrounding communities and in
return the village has seen a reduction in anti-social
behaviour.

Issue dated: 17/08/2009

Action dated: 16/11/2009

To work with partner agencies to deal with inconsiderate driving and parking within the village of Cossington.

Consultation with residents showed that parking and
inconsiderate driving was an issue. We have arranged
for the covert speedcheck van to come to Cossington in
the next few weeks to establish how many cars are
speeding. We have also asked the Parish Council about
the possibility of buying a large banner which highlights
the dangers of parking outside the local primary school
and we have carried out high visibility reassurance
patrols at peak times especially in the morning. This
priority will continue as it is the first time Cossington has
had its own beat priority.

Issue dated: 18/05/2009

Action dated: 16/08/2009

To work with partner agencies in providing and/or promoting facilities for young people in Sileby to further reduce incidents of anti-social behaviour within the village.

Over the past few weeks we have seen the opening of
the new Sileby Boxing Academy which is open Monday
- Friday and has been very well supported by young
people in the village. We are also in the process of
setting up a Youth Working Party within the Parish
Council with a view to trying to get more funding and
facilities for teenagers in the village. This month will also
see the return of the Charnwood Community Shield
football tournament which was such a huge success last
year. This project aims at trying to keep young people
out of trouble by offering them a chance to win a major
prize which this year will be a days pass to Alton
Towers. This priority will continue.

Issue dated: 18/05/2009

Action dated: 16/08/2009

To improve road safety by working with partner agencies to review highway laws with regards to HGVs in Seagrave.

We identified that Seagrave did not have its own beat
priority and it was clear the number of HGV`s using the
village as a short cut to the A46 was a major concern.
The beat team recently attended a meeting at the village
hall to try and set a plan of action involving interested
parties such as the Parish Council and Highways
Department and, as this is likely to be a long term plan,
this will continue as a beat priority.
