Boston Rural West Police Local Neighbourhood

James transferred to Lincolnshire Police in 2005 from Sussex Police where I was a uniformed constable, sergeant and detective sergeant.  Prior to that I was a Naval Officer for 6 years and served around the world. 

Since transferring to Lincolnshire Police I have been a uniformed sergeant, inspector and now chief inspector.  Most of my service has been spent at Grantham, Spalding and most recently the Force Control Room at Headquarters.

James is now the chief inspector for the Boston and South Holland policing area.

Andy is the inspector for the Boston policing area.

Matthew is the community beat sergeant for the Boston policing team.

Jon is the community beat manager for the Boston Rural East policing team.

Esther joined the force in 2012 as a special constable.  She really enjoyed the community side of the role so successfully applied to join as a PCSO in 2015.

She covers the Boston Rural West policing area where she enjoys patrolling on foot and interacting with the community.

Neil joined the force as a PCSO in 2006.

Before this he attended Nottingham Trent University completing a history degree and worked in retail.

He is based at Kirton police office as part of the Boston Rural West policing team.  He has responsibility for the Wyberton area.

He covers 12 villages to the south west of Boston.  Patrolling the larger villages of Kirton, Wyberton, Sutterton and Swineshead take up the majority of his time.  Neil greatly enjoys the variety that this role brings.

Speeding has been reported in the area

We will conduct regular speed enforcement alongside and EMOpSS traffic units at hotspot locations in Rural West beat area

Raise awareness of farm crime in the area

We will Attend farms and rural shows with education material/property marking advice.

We will roll out Lincs Alert system to as many farms as possible.
