Claire Wilson Police Constable 361

Claire was a special constable for four years before joining as a regular police officer in 2009.

She has been based in the Bourne since joining, initially serving as a Response and Patrol Officer.

In 2011 she joined the Bourne and Billingborough policing team, a role Claire very much enjoys and 2012 she took on role of community beat manager.

The role involves working together with other members of the dedicated team and partner agencies to improve the quality of life for local residents, based on local problems and priorities identified by the community.

Having grown up in Lincolnshire, Claire takes great pride in engaging with members of the community in Bourne town centre and the surrounding villages. 

Claire gets a great deal of job satisfaction in her role and strives to ensure the public are reassured and have the confidence in their policing team.

Emma Conkey PCSO 2343

Emma joined as a PCSO in 2014 in the Stamford Town and Rural policing teams.

Previously she worked as a business support  assistant for Cambridgeshire Police.

She enjoys all aspects of her role such as patrols, community engagement and working with local schools and colleges.

Alongside normal duties she is interested in becoming more involved in the Horsewatch scheme.

Natalie is a PCSO in the Grantham policing team

Bernard Nielander PCSO 2269

Bernard, otherwise known as Jay, joined the force in 2009 as a PCSO.

He has worked in many different environments ranging from rural communities to the more urbanised Grantham town beat.

He previously worked on the railways, based at Bedford train station for seven years. He developed investigation skills whilst assisting the British Transport Police in countless investigations and operations. This eventually convinced him to pursue a career in the police, which had been a lifelong ambition.

He was keen on the idea of becoming a police officer, but since joining as a PCSO he has discovered the true joys of community policing.
