I am Sergeant Neville Wharrier and I am responsible within the Alnwick and Amble Neighbourhood Team for all issues related to crime.

It is my responsibility to co-ordinate a response to core crime issues, such as burglary and vehicle crime, and endeavour to find solutions to the causes of crime.

In order to successfully carry out this task I will monitor and target crime patterns and target prolific offenders living within and visiting the area.

I report directly to the Neighbourhood Inspector and am responsible for providing both leadership and management to the following staff:

My day to day duties involve ensuring close links are maintained with all sections of the local communities. As Neighbourhood Beat Manager for Rothbury I am responsible for the policing of Rothbury town.

My role is one of public reassurance and is about maintaining the close links we have built up with all sections of the local community and trying to look for the long term solutions to issues that concern everyone in the area. I am Sergeant Graham Vickers and I am responsible within the Rothbury and Coquetdale Neighbourhood Team for all issues related to crime.

Through my leadership I aim to ensure that my staff and I provide high visibility policing that ensures the needs of the individual neighbourhoods are met whilst also continuing to drive down crime and disorder.

My role also involves forging and maintaining close links with partnership agencies and local councillors in order to promote problem solving within each neighbourhood by working in partnership with stakeholders.

I am responsible for the day to day policing of the Alnwick Sector. The area covers the main towns of Alnwick, Amble & Rothbury as well as the surrounding rural and coastal villages. The sector is one of the largest in Northumbria Police's area, covering the stretch of coast from Amble to Beadnall, extending to Powburn in the north, across to Elsdon in the West and down to Rothley and Longframlington in the South.

My team consists of five uniformed Sergeants who each lead a shift of 24/7 response officers, two Neighbourhood Sergeants each of whom supervise a Neighbourhood Policing Team of Beat Managers and Community Support Officers.

I work closely with the Northumberland Unitary Authority, elected Councillors, Parish Councils, other partners and most importantly you,
the Community. I will always strive to meet your policing needs and to
