I am the Doncaster East Neighbourhood Services Inspector responsible for the deployment of staff across the area. I work with partner agencies and local community representatives to identify and discuss community issues causing concerns, which include crime and ant social behaviour complaints. My team adopt a problem solving approach to tackle these issues and work in the local communities to offer a visible presence and reassurance.

Ben is responsible for the Thorne area.

Darren is responsible for the Moorends, and Sykehouse areas

Pete works in the Stainforth area.

Hazel works in the Stainforth area.

Jane works in the Hatfield, Dunscroft and Dunsville areas.

Vanessa works in the Armthorpe area.

Graeme is responsible for the Barnby Dun, Kirk Sandall and Edenthorpe areas.

Lisa is responsible for the villages of Fishlake, Kirk Bramwith, South Bramwith and Braithwaite.

Dan was promoted earlier this year and joins the team from Sheffield where he worked on the Proactive Team. We are delighted he has been promoted to the East Neighbourhood Team.

A number of residential properties have been attacked and in some cases, car keys located and the occupants vehicle stolen.

Targeting known/suspected offenders

We receive regular complaints about off road bikes from people across the East of Doncaster.

Any information and intelligence is fed into our new off road bike team, who work with partner agencies to target hot spot areas and suspected offenders. during motorcycle operations.

We receive regular complaints about speeding vehicles across the East of Doncaster.

We highlight hot spot locations to the Camera Safety Partnership. If they are unable to deploy into the area with any frequency, we try and deploy PCSOs with speed guns and record the number and speed of any cars passing. We will soon be introducing enforcement work using police officers.

We have received complaints about groups of young people behaving in an anti social manner.

This issue was raised at the Community Engagement Meeting at Thorne. Residents complained about vehicles parking in the Market Place and around schools at the start and end of the schooling day .

We have notified DMBC who will request Kingdom Parking to visit the Market Place area and identify any offending vehicles. We will deploy PCSOs around the schools to deter people from parking irresponsibly.

We have received more complaints of ASB by young people around the Dunscroft and Dunsville areas.

We have received an increased number of complaints of ASB in the areas highlighted .

We have received complaints about car parking around the local schools which occurs at the start and end of each schooling day.

PCSOs will be deployed into the area whenever possible to engage with parents driving their children to school and encourage them to park appropriately and responsibly wherever necessary.
