We are holding a Police surgery at the Treeton Reading Rooms, every Thursday morning at 10-15 am. This will be for 1 hour and give you the opportunity to speak with your local Policing team about any issues you may have in your neighbourhood.

PC Winder is the local officer for Maltby, Hellaby, Carr, Hooton Levitt, Wickersley, Bramley, Flanderwell and Sunnyside

Maltby- 1.Issues with illegal off-road motorbikes particularly at weekends being ridden on common land and roads throughout the village.
2. Emerging antisocial behaviour on and around Lime Grove,Maltby.

1.South Yorkshire Police Off-road Bike Team will be increasing their presence in the area in order to deal with illegal off-road bikes. A partnership approach will be adopted in an attempt to educate the community and wider community that illegal off-road bikes will not be tolerated in the area.
2.A number of events will be held at the Charles Foster Centre to provide support and advice to local residents as well as encouraging them to report Antisocial behaviour.

Ongoing incidents and issues relating to anti social behaviour, minor crime, drug misuse and racial incidents

Review of all incidents reported over recent months to identify core group of individuals responsible for the asb/crime in the area. Process the offenders through the criminal justice system (Restorative Justice/Community Protection Notices/Court Process.

Anti social behaviour around the Massonettes.
Issues: Youths congregating around the stairwells, possibly smoking drugs, drinking alcohol, shouting & swearing. Some properties are having eggs thrown at the property and ketchup.

- Ongoing issues of ASB/Drug activity in and around Woodland Drive, Anston.

Joint partnership meetings and discussions to review issues and concerns from local residents in and around Woodland Drive.

KIVETON Area - Large groups, causing alarm and distress to other users of the car park and recreation grounds including the main entrance to the Village Hall. General low level anti-social behaviour.

KIVETON Area - High visibility patrols carried out, community engagement provided at the centre so the public and younger age groups can engage with officers every Thursday afternoon. Appropriate advice has been given to some groups regarding loitering around outside the doors and intimidating users of the centre. Partnership working with the Parish Council and The Village Hall. The staff at the village hall have also improved CCTV to ensure coverage is outside the main doors.

Ongoing objective.....

BRINSWORTH Area - This was agreed at the last Community & Partners meeting. Low level anti-social behaviour with youths loitering in and around the Sunny Bank Crescent area of Brinsworth.

BRINSWORTH Area - The mobile CCTV camera deployment bid is currently with the area partnerships for final agreement from where if successful it will be deployed within the agreed time frame. Increased high visibility patrols will be maintained in order to reduce any further incidents of anti social behaviour. Ongoing Project....

There have been 2 bungalows which have been subkect to arson attacks. It is believed that ASB is increasing in the area.

Unreported issues in relation to Antisocial Behaviour to include alleged drug dealing and use.

Consideration is to given to relocate CCTV cameras in the above locations. as well as increased patrols in the area. Door to door to be completed in an attempt to increase reporting.
