While having no power of arrest, the officer can attend incidents, patrol and reassure, tackle ASB and parking issues, and in Thames Valley will be deployed to deliver our Crime Attendance policy of attending to provide follow up support and contact. They too are also responsible for tackling the concerns of the community.

The Sergeant is next in command and also assists the Inspector. In addition they provide leadership in the development and supervision of the Constables and PCSOs. They too work with the community and other agencies to ensure that the concerns of the community are dealt with by the Neighbourhood Team.

The Inspector is in command of the Neighbourhood Policing Team and is responsible for the overall policing of the neighbourhood. They lead, manage and co-ordinate the team and also work with the community and other agencies, in ensuring an appropriate and timely response to incidents and issues affecting the community.

1. Anti-social behaviour (ASB) concerns have been raised by members of the Community Forum about the levels of evening activity in the Queensway and Serpentine Court areas.

The Community Forum have decided to keep this priority into the next three month period. A lot of work has been done with the groups concerned and work continues to be done with and around them.

2. Speeding and Community Speedwatch in the local area: Residents at the Community forum continue to raise issues of speeding and perceived speed.

The Community Forum have decided to keep this priority, and we plan to do more speeding operations in the evenings and continue to promote Community Speed Watch

3. Hate Crime: The Neighbourhood team, working with the Community Forum will increase awareness of how to report Hate Crime and increase confidence in reporting it. This priority replaces the previous drugs priority, but is very similar in the way in which it impacts the community's wellbeing.
