This officer is a Constable and takes direction from the Sergeant and they work with the community and other agencies. They are also responsible for tackling those issues as identified by the local community.

Increased patrols and engagement with the community to identify the offenders responsibility.

Ongoing - Covert Operations and Overt patrols of the service areas.

Drug Use and ASB in David Smith Court, Calcot

Statements obtained from the community and liaised with the housing association to successfully obtain in court a part Closure Order for the flat that was causing the issues. This led to a full Closure Order and the tenant leaving the property.

Drug Use aCotswold Sports Centre, Tilehurst in the evenings.

Ongoing - Increased overt patrols and covert operations has led to two youth being formally dealt with for possession of Cannabis. We are now seeing a reduction in complaints.

ASB in College Piece, Mortimer

Ongoing - Working with housing association and residents. We obtained evidence for a partial house closure, this is still in force and has led to a reduction in complaints.

ASB/Drug Use in Willow Tree Glade, Calcot

Increased patrols and worked with residents and the property owner to obtain evidence for a part Closure Order to the offending resident and flat. This ultimately resulted in the resident being removed from the property and the issues being resolved.
