Warwick Central Police Local Neighbourhood

After the success of the community engagement events in Warwick town, the safer neighbourhood team are now planning 'cuppa with a copper' events further afield.

I joined the Police in 2000 and I have worked as both a Reactive Officer and within an investigative environment. I have a vast amount of experience working in neighbourhood policing and I am committed to making The District a safe place to live, work and visit.

I began my service with Nottinghamshire Police in 2002 and transferred to Warwickshire Police in 2009. Since then I have worked at Stratford, Leamington and more recently in an 18 month tenure as Custody Sergeant at Leamington. Having now been given the opportunity to work with Warwick District Safer Neighbourhoods team, I am looking forward to working with our partner agencies to ensure we continue to protect our communities from crime and anti-social behaviour. Listening to, and engaging in the needs of our community is at the frontline of policing, and I feel proud to be part of a team that is dedicated to providing the highest standard of service in Warwickshire.

I joined Warwickshire Police in 2001 and have worked within a variety of roles including Response, Pro-active CID and within the team supporting victim's families from the fatal Atherstone-on-Stour warehouse fire in 2007. I joined the Warwick Central Safer Neighbourhood Team in 2015 and am enjoying making Warwick a safe place to live and work.

I joined West Midlands Police in 2002 working initially on response teams and since 2004 I have gained extensive experience working in Neighbourhood Policing in City Centres / Urban environments. 

I joined Warwickshire Police in 2014 initially working in Leamington Spa working as a Patrol/Reactive Police Officer gaining further experience in helping to provide front line Policing to the communities of South Warwickshire responding to emergencies and non-emergencies.

In June 2017 I have returned to Neighbourhood Policing, working at Warwick Central. I look forward to tackling your local issues, helping to reduce issues like crime and anti-social behaviour and doing my part in making Warwick a safer, enjoyable place to live and visit.

Prior to my time with Warwickshire Police, I worked in Environmental Health for Birmingham City Council, dealing with issues of litter, fly tipping and graffiti.

I joined Warwickshire Police in 2008 where I spent 5 years working on the Alcester Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT), covering Alcester Town along with the villages of Bidford on Avon, Welford on Avon & Salford Priors. I then moved across to the Warwick Rural West SNT in May 2012, covering the villages from Bishops Tachbrook, Barford, Hampton Magna to Hatton and Lapworth. In August 2014, I transferred onto the Warwick Town Team where I remain today.

 I started working for Warwickshire Police in November 2018, after working for a year as a PCSO in Derbyshire. Before becoming a PCSO I studied Criminology at university. I cover Warwick town centre and the surrounding areas and enjoy completing foot patrol speaking to local residents and visitors.  

Before joining Warwickshire Police I was a support worker for a number of years. I look forward to meeting you in your community, solving local issues and helping Warwick be a safe place to live and work. 

 The community forum is taking place on Thursday 7th March 2019, the venue and time is TBC.

The Warwick Team is asking for resident to vote on the Warwick Safer Neighbourhood Team Priorities ahead of the upcoming Community Forum.

 The poll will be open until Wednesday 6th March 2019. The results will be announced at the community forum

1. As a result to a change in the Law in relation to the use of mobile phones whilst driving, there is a drive to advise motorists of the perils of being distracted whilst at the wheel, and if required take formal action.

2. There is concern from members of the public in relation to anti-social behaviour 'ASB' in and around Chase Meadow Estate in Warwick. Concerns include youths playing "Knock & Run" and congregating in large groups and causing a general nuisance.

3. Concerns continue from motorists, residents and parents regarding parking around all the schools in Warwick. Whether it is the Morning School Run or the afternoon pick up, parking and congestion remains a very real problem.

1. There continues to be a number of complaints from members of the public with regards to speeding motorists on Stratford Road, Warwick.

2. There is concern from members of the public in relation to anti-social behaviour 'ASB' in and around the Park & Open Spaces in Warwick. Concerns raised include nuisance youths, vehicular ASB and low-level drug use.

3. There are numerous concerns from motorists, residents and parents regarding parking around all the schools in Warwick. Whether it is the morning School Run, or the afternoon pick up, parking and congestion remains a very real problem
