I have over 11 years varied Policing experience in Patrol, CID, Integrated Offender Management, Custody and now as the SNT Inspector for Shrewsbury. I have a very dedicated team who all work hard to ensure we deliver the best possible service to our community.

Hello, I am the Safer Neighbourhood Sergeant covering the Shrewsbury area.  I am an experienced Officer and have worked for West Mercia Police since 2000. My objective is to ensure that your Safer Neighbourhood Teams are visible in the local community and are engaging with Partner Agencies in order deal with issues that arise.  If you have an issue, please do not hesitate to contact me or any of the team and we will endeavour to assist you.

PC Hitchins joined West Mercia in 2006.  Spent 10 years on response and  moved across as the Meole and Copthorne Safer Neighbourhood Officer in 2016 and has a team of 2 full time PCSO's and 2 part time PCSO's.

Working for West Mercia Police since 2008, Joined Meole Sutton & Copthorne in 2016.

I have previously served as a Warrant Officer for West Mercia in the Telford area for 14 years before becoming a PCSO.

Check all outdoor lighting and security for sheds outbuildings and vehicles

SNT to use the Mobile Police station to give advice and victim packs

In the run up to Christmas there will be regular foot patrols of the retail park

To use the Mobile Police station as a point of contact for advice and reassurance

Ongoing anti social behaviour in the Meole Brace area being reported to the Safer Neighbourhood Team.

High visibility patrols will be increased to deal with ongoing anti social behaviour.  Offenders will be dealt with proactively by officers to deter any future issues
